The Angenieux Optimo Lightweight hand-held zoom lenses include the 15-40mm. The offer an impressive balance between quality and versatility. They are the lightest and the most compact series of cine zoom lenses in the industry and are perfectly suited for a wide range of TV, broadcast, or cine productions requiring lightweight and compact setups for Steadicam or gimbal work.

The widest of the Optimo range, the 15-40mm has a fast aperture of T2.6 and can focus up close to just 0.6m or 2 feet. The lens has a native PL mount, however interchangeable Panavision and Canon EF mounts are also available and can easily be fitted to the back of the lens.
